Jungle

I have recently been doing some sketches on Photoshop inspired by photographs from my aunt. She has photographed places all over the world and in particular places like Borneo and Africa. This image is inspired by a photograph of Borneo. I am particularly interested in the elements of the picture like the contrast between patterns in the sky and the smooth brush strokes that come from using the brush tool. Having larger shapes in the foreground communicate the distance in space from the plants closer in contrast to the plants in the background.
