Gatcombe
This is a mono print that I have done it is of a location in the Forest of Dean. And I like the fact that is is so simple and minimalist. I also like the other elements of the image like the contrast between the yellow and the white.

I really admire the work of Tom Abbiss Smith because of the vivid use of colour and shapes that he uses. I have recently done some research on the Poet Dante. I am particularly interested in his thinking about the philosophy of life. He was a major Italian poet of the late middle ages. He is famous for writing the post Divine comedy, originally called ‘Comedia’.
Christmas card entry
I recently entered a competition for a Christmas card prize. The objective being to create a card design that portrayed what meant most to you at Christmas. I chose the location of St’Nicholas’s market as this resonated most to me about the feeling of christmas.
